Warranty information
We make every effort to manufacture our base and mattresses with only the finest materials and we are committed to continually improving our products and service through the use of the latest technology and the application of a quality management system, as guided by and in the use of the bedding industry.
This warranty does not cover:
- Any fabric protector addictive applied after manufacturing nullifies this warranty.
- Transportation or inspection costs (For invalid claims within the warranty period, an inspection fee and transport fee will be charged).
- Mattress or base damage due to abuse (jumping on, walking on or bending the product – bent border wire.)
- Mattress or base ticking.
- Quality Bedding reserves the right to substitute materials or models of comparable quality and will not guarantee that the fabric replacement piece will match.
- Only the faulty item or items will be replaced on the bed set.
- Only a solid slated base may be used with a Quality Bedding mattress. If the required base was not used, Quality Bedding reserves the right to void the warranty claim.
- A mattress that has been structurally altered in any way by a customer or anybody else.
If however, you discover a defect in your new mattress or base, please contact the retail store where you purchased your bed set. The decision to repair or replace the defective mattress or base within the warranty period (as stated on the label) will be at the sole discretion of Quality Bedding.
Please take note of the following:
- In order for a limited warranty to be valid, you must be the original purchaser and have purchased the bed set from an authorized Quality Bedding dealer in Southern Africa.
- No inspection or warranty will be honoured, if an original purchase invoice and receipt are not provided or the labels are not intact, to validate the purchase date and purchaser.
- Quality Bedding reserves the right to refuse services when upon inspection the product is found to be stained, burnt, dirty, soiled infested or in an insanitary condition.
- Damage caused by the continual use of an electric blanket as high temperatures will compress or flatten fibres in the upholstery levels.
- Quality Bedding reserves the right to substitute the product or the material of equal or higher value, including colour matching (as fashion changes, so do fabrics and availability).
- In the event that Quality Bedding repairs the mattress or the base, this limited warranty will not be renewed or extended.
Congratulations on your purchase and have a restful and healthy sleep.
Valuable tips on using your bed set:
- Occasionally vacuum your mattress.
- Replace your base when buying a new mattress, because an old base or certain foundations will not provide sufficient support and the mattress will appear to be sagging.
- Rotate your mattress to prolong its comfort and support life. Please refer to the information on the “Turning Sequence”.
- Please don’t smoke in bed.
- Please do not bend your mattress, because it will damage the inner spring unit and border wiring.
- Try to keep your mattress dry at all times. Wetness or moisture may affect the upholstery layers, causing them to compress and damage.
- Please give your mattress time to “breathe” after the removal of the plastic packaging if an odour is detected.
